Full-time position of Associate Program Officer at JFLA
There is a new job opening at Japan Foundation, Los Angeles/JFLA and we are interested in finding a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Associate Program Officer (Japanese Language Education), which would start Oct. 1st (or later).

[Work Schedule] Monday to Friday,
Regular Hours: 9:30am – 5:30pm
(7-hour work time & 1-hour lunch break per day)
Flexible Schedule
You may change your shift schedule as needed (Example: 10am-6pm including lunch break).
Remote Work
Work-from-home is allowed up to twice a week.
[Duties]
Organize Japanese language education related grant programs
Research and collect information on the status of Japanese language education in the U.S.
Promote and enhance awareness of the Japanese language education in the U.S.
Networking/collaborating with Japanese teachers associations and other foreign language educational organizations
English/Japanese translation and proofreading
Perform other related duties assigned by Director or Deputy Director
[Eligibility]
Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 2 years’ work experience, preferably in a related field
Able to perform duties at a business level both in English and Japanese
Have an interest in Japanese language education and Japanese culture
Good with numbers and able to do precise work
Team player
Must have U.S. citizenship or a visa to work in the U.S. (Visa support not available)
[Salary] Commensurate with skill, experience and JFLA regulations (From $42,000 a year +)
